Start-Up Womenswear Activewear Brand
Design, Content and Communication Hires
We partnered with a start-up, female-founded activewear brand set up by a popular fitness coach, entrepreneur, and influencer, with over 2.5 million followers. This DTC business is on a mission to empower women through their fitness journey by creating enduring, comfortable and stylish activewear.
With all operations originally being conducted by a larger sportswear brand in Austria, the Founder wanted to bring key arms of the business in-house to her her London HQ. As the brand was growing, it was important that she be closer to design and content.
We worked to source three roles; a Head of Design to lead the design studio, followed by a Head of Content and Head of Communications.
The talent that we spoke to during the process were excited by the prospect of working with a female-founder-led business in sportswear/activewear.
We successfully placed several key hires who will have a huge influence on the future of the business. We sourced a super technical and talented designer (ex Sweaty Betty) as Head of Design, a Head of Content with a strong understanding of the Gen-Z and Millennial consumer, and a Head of Communications (ex New Era and Dazed).
